HOMESTEAD, Fla. — Jack Roush earned his 400th victory as a car owner Saturday afternoon at Homestead-Miami Speedway and it couldn’t have come in a better way.
Roush’s son, Jack, Jr. along with co-driver Billy Johnson, wheeled their Roush Racing Ford Mustang from 34th on the grid to win the Grand Am sanctioned Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series event at the 2.3-mile road course.
“It makes me feel old,” said the elder Roush who was on site for the victory. “It was ironic that my son was there. I know that when he was about three weeks old I had a serious drag racing wreck in my pro stock car.
