The final season to qualify for the Regional Annual Club Championship (RACC) in January is underway with the first week in the books. Two teams that have yet to earn a spot in the RACC currently lead the way in their regions. The Northeast has the usual suspects back at the top of the leader board; the Pacific is once again led by the West, while two underdogs once again pull away from the rest of their regions.

The Central European Region, which for the last three seasons has been dominated by Club Italia, has a new leader for now as the DE-AT-CH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) take the top spot after a week of racing. Italy has a chance to earn a spot directly to the World Cup of iRacing, but only if they win the Season Four Regional Season Club Championship (RSCC), in the Central European Region for the fourth time. Right now DE-AT-CH holds a 2292 point lead over Italy who sits in third behind the International Club. It looks like this season may be the first that someone within this region can stop the Italians.

The other region to have a new face at the top of the standings is the Central US Region, with the Midwest, who had made a late charge in Season Three for the top spot, starting off strong. They have a 244 point lead over Illinois who also showed improvements at the end of the last season. The Great Plains sit in third 370 points out of the lead.  Illinois and the Midwest are both looking for their first RSCC, and a shot at the World Cup of iRacing.

In the closest battle out of any of the regions, Pennsylvania leads Ohio by 3 points in the Mid-Atlantic Region.  Both are past regional champions. The Atlantic club sits only 153 points out of the lead in third, and the Virginias are just 297 point back from the top spot in the fourth position. The Atlantic and Virginias Club are still looking for their first RSCC.

In the Northeastern Region New York has bounced back from their Season Three upset, where New England just barely edged them to prevent a three-peat. New York currently holds an 835 point lead over Eastern Canada, while New England sits a distant third, 1800 point out of the lead. Eastern Canada is still looking for their first RSCC, and the accopmanying invite to the RACC in January.

In the Pacific the West looks to take their second RSCC in a row, and have an early lead of Australia who sits 1080 points out of the lead. Western Canada is only 500 points back from Australia. Only the West and California have earned spots into the RACC out of the Pacific Region.

South America is once again in a battle with the Mid-South for the Southeastern Region. Georgia and Florida sit in fourth and fifth in the region, and are the only two clubs from the Southeastern Region yet to win a RSCC. Georgia is 2626 point out of the lead, while Florida has fallen 3691 back from South America. The chances of seeing either of these two clubs in the World Cup of iRacing is getting smaller every race.
