Stirling Moss is recovering in hospital from serious injuries he suffered in a lift accident at his home over the weekend. The racing legend fell down three floors of a lift shaft following a malfunction with the lift doors - when they opened on the third floor while the lift was still a floor further up. Moss broke both ankles and four bones in his feet, plus suffered further damage to his vertebrae, in the fall.

HOMESTEAD, Fla. — Scott Pruett held off a furious late-race challenge from David Donohue to win Saturday evening’s Grand Prix of Miami Grand Am Rolex Sports Car Series event at Homestead-Miami Speedway

ORECA has unveiled the livery its Peugeot 908 HDi FAP will carry this year, ahead of the car’s public debut in the Le Mans Series test at Paul Ricard tomorrow. The French squad has secured the customer Peugeot LMP1 deal for 2010 and will run its 908 in the full LMS and the Le Mans 24 Hours. Olivier Panis and Nicolas Lapierre will drive the car for the full season, with Loic Duval joining them at Ricard and Le Mans.

Former GP2 race winner and A1GP frontrunner Clivio Piccione is to switch to sportscars this year, having signed for the Hexis Aston Martin team in the new GT1 World Championship.
