Leading sportscar constructor Lola has released details of the coupe version of its 2011 LMP2 car.
Built to next year’s new LMP2 regulations, which feature production GT engines, the car can run with BMW, Ford, HPD, Jaguar, Judd, Nissan or Toyota power units.
With some of the new-style engines being longer than the current models, the new B11/80 has a longer wheelbase than its predecessor. The existing B10/80 will still be available with a limited range of engines.
Lola’s executive chairman Martin Birrane said: “I am delighted that Lola is once again evidencing its ongoing commitment to sports prototype racing, a trend I started in 1998 with the B98/10, with a full complement of products now available to our customers.”
